Saturday marked European Day of Languages - or, as we prefer to call it, the “Day of Languages” and this year’s theme was “Languages Unite.”

To celebrate, our MFL department brought languages to life on Friday with a fun-filled lunchtime of activities for KS3 and KS4 students!

Students put their language skills to the test with Guess the Language movie songs, tackled some tricky MFL tongue-twister challenges, and took on the Photo Booth Challenge, listening to Ms Karmann say a word or phrase in another language before choosing the correct prop!

There were plenty of smiles, some impressive language skills and, of course, rewards, including Trackit points and positive phone calls home.

A fantastic celebration of the many languages that connect us, because languages really do unite!
