A massive congratulations to GCA alumna Loreto, who has been named the Yachting Journalists’ Association (YJA) Young Journalist of the Year 2026!

This is a fantastic international achievement and a hugely exciting milestone for Loreto. The award recognises talented young journalists within the world of sailing and yachting, making this an incredible accomplishment and one to be extremely proud of.

Loreto’s success is another wonderful example of where a passion for sailing can lead, both on and off the water, and it is fantastic to see a GCA alumna achieving such exciting recognition.
