Celebrating A-Level and BTEC Success

13th Aug 2026

We are delighted to celebrate another fantastic Results Day at GCA, with our students securing exciting next steps at leading universities across the country.

Our students are progressing to destinations including Warwick, York, Southampton, Bristol, Loughborough, King’s College London, Queen Mary, Brunel and Royal Holloway, alongside many other excellent universities.

Celebrating our students

Nathan is heading to the University of Warwick to study Mechanical Engineering, while Heaven has secured a place at King’s College London to study Midwifery. Heaven described her reaction as “happy screaming” on the train! She credits supportive friends and group study with helping her stay motivated and says she will miss “the people and the environment” at GCA.

Nicole will study Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Bristol. She is particularly proud of the friendships she made and the confidence she developed during Year 13, and thanked Mr Corrigan, Mr Rowlands and Mr Abdul-Qayyum for their support.

Arlis and Behchet are both heading to City St George’s, University of London, to study Accounting and Finance with a Placement Year and Computer Science respectively. Behchet summed up his GCA experience in three words: “friendship, inspiration and aspiration.”

Faith has secured a place at UCL to study Crime and Security Science. Her advice to younger students is an important reminder: “You don’t need to burn out in order to achieve top grades.”

Danilo and Kevyn are heading to Aston University, studying Economics and International Business. Both reflected on how their time at GCA helped them grow in confidence, maturity and determination.

Abdullah hopes to study Economics before pursuing a career in banking. Looking back, he is particularly proud of the work experience and opportunities he gained at GCA and says the people and teachers are what he will miss most.

Behind every result is a story of hard work, friendship, resilience and ambition. We are incredibly proud of all our students and everything they have achieved.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 – we can’t wait to see what you achieve next!
