GCA’s STEM Week 2026 has been a fantastic success, with students across the school taking part in a wide range of exciting and engaging activities. It has been wonderful to see such high levels of enthusiasm and participation throughout the week.

The week concluded with a series of exciting events, including the Boat Race, Greenpower Goblin Cars, Online Flight Simulator, and the STEM Quiz prize giving, a brilliant way to celebrate an inspiring week of STEM.

A highlight of the week was the Industrial Cadets Challenger Day, delivered in school by the EDT team. Over 200 students gained accredited STEM awards, with opportunities to progress to Bronze and Silver Industrial Cadet levels later this year.

Students demonstrated excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and engineering skills throughout the programme. Thank you to all staff for their support, and well done to all students for their fantastic achievements.
