On Saturday 22nd November, one of our V5 Robotics teams competed at Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys in Canterbury, facing strong competition from top independent and grammar schools.

I am delighted to share that our team not only secured 1st place in the qualification matches, but went on to win the Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Finals with substantial margins. They were awarded the Tournament Championship, marking a truly outstanding achievement.

As a result, the team has now qualified for the UK National Championship 2026, which will take place in Telford at the end of February.

Please join us in congratulating Nicholson (10AP) and Hammad (9SD) on this remarkable accomplishment. It is also worth noting that Nicholson and his teammates won the UK National Championship earlier this year (2025) and are ambitiously working to continue this legacy.

With this result, two of our robotics teams have now qualified for the UK Nationals. Earlier this term, our VEX IQ team won the tournament hosted at GCA on 11th October and secured their place at the UK Robotics National Championship.
