A note from Ms Onoszko:

The students had a tour of the university and took part in a range of exciting activities. There were an art appreciation session with an artist Karl Singporewala, Shan culture object handling, a Q&A session with a Buddhist monk about his life and initiation ceremonies in Burma and Thailand, as well as fun team building and empathy generating sessions. All activities generated a lot of enthusiasm and provoked thoughtful questions, as well as mature answers. All students behaved impeccably, approached the activities with curiosity and came back with a few more reflections on life, education and work. Some of them have started to think about their future pathway where university may be an option. The seed has been planted :-)
