A proud day for GCA as two of our Sixth Form students represented the Academy at the Peter Jones Tycoon Competition National Finals at Twickenham Stadium, having been crowned London Regional Winners.

The boys impressed attendees with their marketing and events business, Neighbourly, receiving personal praise from Peter Jones himself for their entrepreneurial success.

It was also wonderful to see GCA alumnus Nana Agyemang attending as a guest of the Peter Jones Foundation, having worked closely with the organisation through his role in diversification at Barclays.

Although the national title went to a school producing natural beeswax products from its own beehives, reaching the finals was a fantastic achievement. We are incredibly proud of the boys' ambition, creativity and professionalism.

Next year, the national title, Mr Hilmi! With our own GCA beehives and honey production already buzzing, perhaps we have the winning formula right on our doorstep!
