History has been made for GCA Robotics.
585 elite teams from 55 countries competed at 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship in St Louis, US. For the first time in GCA Robotics history, a team has won a Judges Award at the World stage, marking a truly historic milestone for our school and robotics program.
During qualification matches, Our Team 10478C ranked 25th out of 82 teams in their division, successfully advancing to the Division Elimination Bracket. Although the team was unfortunately eliminated following a last-moment turnaround, their dedication, professionalism, and technical excellence stood out throughout the event.
After undergoing a rigorous judging interview process both before and during competition, our team earned the REC Foundation VEX Judges Award in their division, recognizing their outstanding effort and overall excellence.

The REC Foundation VEX Build Award recognizes teams that demonstrate:
- Exceptional robot construction and structural design
- High-quality craftsmanship and durability
- Effective mechanical and electrical integration
- Attention to detail, reliability, and engineering best practices
