Back to newsArt for a Greener Future: KS5 Students Go Global
16th Mar 2026Our KS5 Art students have had their environmental activist artworks published internationally as part of The Gallery’s project, It’s Not Easy Being Green, a massive public art initiative showcasing climate‑focused artworks across digital screens and billboards throughout the UK and Brazil, reaching millions of people.
This is a huge achievement, and it’s all thanks to our students’ creativity, passion, and willingness to use art as a force for action. Their work now stands alongside powerful artworks from around the world that spark conversation about the climate crisis and sustainability. Please have a look at the international exhibition here, it’s well worth a browse: https://thegallery.org.uk/about/its-not-easy-being-green/
Environmentalism is something I care about deeply. Seeing our students take bold steps to raise awareness through their art makes me immensely proud and also hopeful. Their work is a reminder that each of us has a role to play, no matter how small it may feel. Please congratulate students involved and help celebrate their success.
