A-Level Politics students attended a conference at the British Library on American politics, to compliment their studies in class. Students heard from former memebers of the House of Representatives from the Democrat and Republican parties on topics such as the presidency, Congress, Surpeme Court and elections. It was fantastic to see Isabella and Kelvin confidently ask questions of the speakers in front of an audience of 200 people.

The following week, Solutions Not Sides visited the school and our Year 12 and 13 History and Politics students took part in a workshop where they learnt about the historical background of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and heard about the first hand experiences of an Israeli and Palestinian peace activist. Students showed excellent maturity and engagement, asking thoughtful and astute questions in the Q and A.
