Our school was invited to a special reception at the Chinese Embassy celebrating the Mandarin Excellence Programme (MEP) China Trip. I had the pleasure of taking the following Year 10 students to the event: Daviya, Ivan, Yazeed, and Shiloh.
During the reception, guests viewed the British Council’s video Mandarin Excellence Programme: China Visit July 2025, which was filmed at our school.
We were especially proud that Yazeed and Shiloh delivered speeches as representatives of Greig City Academy. They spoke with confidence and were outstanding ambassadors for our school.
