16th Oct 2025Paired Reading Club in Full Swing!
At lunchtime, the library was abuzz with energy and enthusiasm. Lower school for whom English is not their first language, were reading alongside our fantastic Sixth Formers — many of whom once had extra English lessons themselves when they were in Key Stage 3. The atmosphere was warm, supportive, and full of purpose.
It was wonderful to see younger students being encouraged and guided by their older peers, fostering both confidence and connection across year groups. We hope this will be the first of many successful sessions where Sixth Form and lower school students collaborate and learn together.
The Paired Reading Club takes place every Thursday lunchtime.
