Sixth Form Scientists Visit CERN and Lake Annecy

Year 12 Physics and Year 13 Chemistry students had the wonderful opportunity to take part in an inspiring trip to Switzerland and France. The highlight of the visit was CERN, the world’s largest physics laboratory, where students gained a unique insight into cutting-edge research at the forefront of particle physics.

The trip also included time in the beautiful French Alps, with a visit to Lake Annecy. Surrounded by stunning mountain views, students were able to enjoy the cultural and natural highlights of the region, making the experience both educational and memorable.
