On Monday 16th June, GCA had the extraordinary honour of welcoming Cambridge graduate and Oscar-nominated actress Naomie Harris OBE to our Drama Department. Known for her iconic roles in Pirates of the Caribbean, Skyfall, Moonlight, and Mandela, Naomie's visit left students starstruck—especially 7BH, who had a surprise encounter with her during their Spanish lesson! The excitement continued as Naomie attended a powerful performance of “Reality Unplugged” by our talented Year 13 Drama students, followed by an inspiring Q&A session with our Year 10 and 12 Drama, Media, and English students. It was a truly unforgettable day filled with awe, inspiration, and unforgettable memories.
