5th Apr 2024

England U16 Boys and Girls squads won the 2024 Four Nations, beating their Irish rivals to lift two championship trophies.

Read on to find out how GCA's Obinna helped seal a victory for the boys.

Head Coach Claire Harper-Black's girls were the first to lift silverware, beating Ireland 74-57, and becoming back-to-back competition winners.

Irene Oboavwoduo was MVP with 20 points, and Tiarna Chambers-Desmond and Chloe Vella chipped in with 16 points each.

On the final day of competition, Head Coach Alexis Lewis England Boys beat Wales, 116-54, in the morning, setting things up nicely for a championship decider against their fiercest rivals, Ireland.

A combination of 21, 14 and 11 points from Emmanuel Ahamefule, Obinna Ekufu and Myles Barry, plus a massive 14 rebounds from Kelvin Clement, put England on course for a 75-59 victory.

Congratulations, Obinna - so what's your next step?
