Key Stage 4
Key Stage 4 continues to develop each individual by supporting and challenging them in and out of the classroom, with the aim of enabling all students to gain the skills and qualifications they will need to progress on to further education and employment.
The Key Stage 4 curriculum consists of compulsory core subjects and option subjects from which students make a choice:
- English (Language and Literature)
- Combined Science
- Religious Studies
- Non-examination Physical Education
The choice of options depends on the interests and ability of the individual. Students choose up to four optional studies from the list below and are allowed a free choice. Where English is a second language or there is another identified special need, students may reduce the number of option subject and be supported in the time made available.
