Welcome to the Greig City Academy website. I hope that you will like what you read about the school and that you will find much to interest you.
Greig City Academy - Achievement in a Christian Community defines a school that reflects the rich diversity of our local community, respects and celebrates the differences between pupils and develops positive relationships based on simple Christian values. This ethos is reflected in our focus on high standards of academic and personal achievement, positive attitudes towards learning and exemplary behaviour. We maintain a well-ordered environment in which all students can enjoy learning. The result is that our pupils are the best ambassadors for the school. They are positive, lively and courteous and interact well with one another and with staff both in and out of the classroom.
Our pupils enjoy an ever-increasing range of extra curricular activities and outdoor education, with residential trips at weekends and during the holidays. Sports and the arts are particular strengths and many students take part in performances and competitions at national as well as local level.
You can find out more about these activities, the school's excellent facilities and our pupils' successes by browsing through this site. If you find the virtual information incomplete then please feel free to tour the school at any time. To set up a visit or for any other information, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
Yours sincerely,
Paul Sutton, Principal
