Ms Cooper is now making ear guards for the NHS

24th Apr 2020

Ms Cooper has been making ear guards and will be sending a batch to Chase Farm Hospital today and another batch to Barnet Hospital over the weekend.

NHS staff simply place one at the back of their head and the elastic from their face masks goes around the buttons, instead of their ears. In effect, protecting them as due to the long hours of wearing masks, some members of the NHS have suffered with bad sores behind their ears and these have been really helpful in combatting the rubbing of ears.

Once she gets delivery of a pack of buttons, Ms Cooper will be making more.

Thank you, Miss.
