INSET – 2nd and 3rd September 2026

The school will be closed to students on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd September to allow for staff training. Students should not come into school on those days

Year 7 Induction

Year 7 students will start school on Friday 4th September at 8.20am. They will have the school to themselves for the whole day and will have the opportunity to tour the school site, get their timetables and school planners and attend some lessons.

Year 8 – 11 Return to School

Years 8 - 11 will return on Monday 7th September. Please see below for timings on the day. This staggered start will allow for year group assemblies to take place and for students to spend time with their tutors collecting their new school timetables and planners.

Year 8: 08:20am (straight to assembly)

Year 9: 09:00am (straight to assembly)

Year 10: 09:50am (straight to assembly)

Year 11: 10:30am (straight to assembly)

6th Form Induction

6th Form Induction will take place on Wednesday 2nd and Friday 4th September— please look out for further information from Mr Holt.

Magic Breakfast - Free Breakfast

This has been a roaring success in the school. Many students have taken us up on this offer for a free hot or cold breakfast in the mornings. This service will continue in the next academic year. Please encourage your children to take advantage of this offer and join us from 8am for breakfast each morning!
