JCQ INFORMATION – SUMMER 2021

Guidance for Students and Parents

Following the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the UK government has decided that the Summer 2021 examination series will not go ahead as planned. Instead, teachers will determine your grades, based upon a range of evidence verified by your school or college.

This JCQ document, which you can download from the link below, provides an overview of the most important information that you and your parents or guardians need to know about how grades will be awarded this summer. This includes a timeline of what is happening and when; how teachers, schools and colleges will determine your grades; and when you will receive your results.  Please take some time to read through.

If you have any queries for JCQ please email summer2021@jcq.org.uk.

All exam candidates taking A levels and GCSEs from September 1 onwards must read the documents filed on the left of this page. Parents/carers are also advised to read the information.

If you have any queries about any of the information, please speak either to subject teachers or to Ms Dunn, our examinations officer.
