UCAS

The UCAS application process at GCA starts in Year 12; students are guided through their applications by teachers and, in some cases, receive advice on their personal statements from undergraduates and university tutors. Students applying for art courses are supported in preparing their portfolio.

Students submit their applications in the autumn term of Year 13 . During this term students applying to Oxford or Cambridge will also take entrance examinations for those universities. Students applying for performing arts courses, e.g. at RADA or LAMDA may also be asked to attend an audition in the autumn or spring terms.

Throughout their time in the sixth form our students receive advice on higher education finance including the potential for gaining bursaries.
