Please download the document below to view our assessment of the risks posed by COVID-19 as the school opens for all students plus the measures we have taken to minimise the risks identified.
This document is under constant review and updates will be posted as required.
The key measures include:
Staggered starts/finish (by Key Stage)
Hand sanitisation on entry/exit to school and available for all blocks, toilets and classrooms
Temperature checks and visual checks
One way systems to operate in each block/2-way systems where corridors are wider (with barriers)
Nominated social/play spaces for year groups
Toilet cleaning regime throughout the day (cleaner on site)
Daily cleaning of all classrooms and offices
Staggered access to canteen by year group
Seating plans drawn up and registers taken each lesson (to assist with potential test and trace)
Pupils to provide their own pens/pencils. Not to share
Powerpoints, posters and notices shared with staff and students which make expectations explicit
Protocols for delivery of first aid and for dealing with pupils who are unwell
Quick drop point established for parents at front of school
Diligent checking, recording and monitoring of actions and processes in relation to Covid controls
Wearing of face coverings allowed in all spaces and compulsory in communal spaces such as corridors.
Relevant training for use of appropriate PPE when required in practical lessons such as food technology
A plan in place in case of an outbreak or a suspected outbreak
