Rochelle Milton and Jay-Ann Harriott not only helped steer Haringey Angels Basketball Under 14 and Under 16 teams to victory in this season's English Basketball League finals, they were also selected as Most Valued Player (MVP) in their respective matches. Rochelle was MYP in the Under 14s final whilst Jay-Ann, who played in both the Under 14s and the Under 16s was MVP in the latter.
Haringey Angels showed they are the top young women's club in the country by winning all three finals - the Under 18s as well as the Under 14s and 16s.
Rochelle has also been chosen to taken part in an International Basketball Camp for girls to be held in July in Slovenia. The camp is organised by FIBA the world governing body for basketball and the girls invited are those who, so far, have narrowly missed out on a place in the England squad. Here's hoping Rochelle will be selected next time round.
Very well done to Rochelle and Jay-Ann - we're proud of you and pleased you're setting such a high standard.
