On Thursday March 26, GCA students and staff staged a flashdance at lunch time to raise money for Comic Relief.
The GCA Dancers started us off with their own dance on the theme of redemption. Then everyone joined in to dance to "My Boy Lollipop", "Do You Love Me?" and other well-known songs with dance moves. Everyone who entered the dance paid a 50p contribution which will go to charity.
We filmed the dance and will enter it into the Red Nose Day school competition which asks schools to perform something funny and upload the film onto a schools' showcase. Even if we don't win the competition prize of £5000 of IT equipment, we had a fantastic (and healthy) time and it was great to see students in all year groups and staff joining in.
