Madrid

Un grupo de estudiantes del año 9 visitaron y asistieron un instituto de enseñanza secundaria en Madrid la semana 18-23 noviembre como parte de una iniciativa inglesa del British Concil. Nuestros estudiantes trabajaron muy bien en el aula y disfrutaron conocer a estudiantes españoles durante las actividades extra escolares. Estas incluyeron: varios juegos de deporte, almorzar en casa de una familia española, visitar las atracciones principales de Madrid y una visita guiada del estadio Bernabeu. La experienca ha estado increiblemente positiva para nuestros estudiantes y GCA espera continuar el programa con el instituto IES Laguna de Joatzel en años futuros.

A group of Year 9 students visited and attended a secondary school in Madrid the week of 18-23 November as part of a British Council initiative. Our students worked very well in the classroom and enjoyed meeting Spanish students during extra-curricular activities. These included: playing sport, having lunch at a Spanish family's home, visiting Madrid's main attractions and a guided tour of the Bernabeu stadium. The experience has been incredibly exciting for our students and GCA hopes to continue the programme with the partner school IES Laguna de Joatzel in future years.
