Barcelona

December 2007

En noviembre un grupo de 35 estudiantes y 5 profesores fueron a Barcelona. Viajaron en autocar, el viaje fue muy largo ¡24 horas! Los estudiantes se alojaron en familias españolas y durante su estancia visitaron muchos lugares de interés. Fueron a Tarragona, donde hay ruinas romanas, y al Monasterio de Montserrat donde hay vistas estupendas de las montañas. También fueron a Sitges, un pueblo en la costa.

En Barcelona visitaron el Parque Güell y la catedral de la Sagrada Familia. Las dos son obras del arquitecto Gaudí. También nos dieron una visita guiada del estadio Olímpico y del Camp Nou. El tiempo en Barcelona fue fenomenal. Hizo sol todos los días.

In November, a group of 35 students and five teachers went to Barcelona. They travelled by coach, and the journey was very long, 24 hours! The students lodged with Spanish families and, during their stay, visited many places of interest. They went to Tarragona where there are Roman ruins, and to the Monastery of Montserrat where there are superb views of the mountains. They also went to Sitges, a town on the coast.

In Barcelona, they visited the Park Güell and the Sagrada Familia, both designed by the architect Gaudí. We also had a guided visit of the Olympic Stadium and the Camp Nou. The weather in Barcelona was fantastic. We had sun every day.
