Sixth Form

Students choose up to four Level 5 subjects for which they must meet the entry requirements. In Year 12, students also take ‘Ethics' which is designed to help students assess and develop argument, understand ethical reasoning and decision-making and develop their critical reasoning skills.

To see the course details for each subject, click the link on the right to download the Post 16 Course Booklet. The booklet is updated each year to reflect changes in syllabuses, assessment methods and other examining body requirements. You can also ask for a hard copy from the school.

'The inclusive and large sixth form provision is good. Learners can choose from a range of academic and vocational courses and combine them if appropriate. The sixth form study centre is open from 6am to 7.30pm daily and learners are encouraged to make use of the facilities and available staff support.' Ofsted 2015
