This provides staff with a weekly informal and relaxed platform to share best practice, support colleagues, lighten workloads and most importantly improve student achievement whilst enjoying a free hot breakfast and discussing all things teaching and learning.
GCA Learning Award
Teachers are able to apply for one of our Learning Awards up to an annual value of £2,400, which could enable you to develop particular talents or skills.

Season ticket loan
Employees are entitled to apply for an annual, interest-free season ticket loan for travel.
Health and well-being activities
Employees have access to a range of benefits including free flu jabs, subsidised yoga and karate classes, and use of a fitness suite. We also run a number of special events throughout the year.
Cycle to Work scheme
The scheme enables you to obtain a bike and/or cycling accessories to use for riding to work whilst making tax and National Insurance savings. You rent your chosen bike and cycling equipment through salary sacrifice from the Academy.
Eye care vouchers
Employees using a VDU can apply for a free eye examination and receive a contribution towards frames and lenses.
