Our two winners of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers' (WCIB) essay competition received their prizes from the Lord Mayor of London on December 4: 

Atlanta -1st prize, in-school winner won £100 as well as work experience and
employability training.

Benedict - runner up in-school won £50 as well as work experience and employability training.

The school also won £150 thanks to their efforts.

Eight students took part in the competition. They were challenged to write a letter to the Lord Mayor of the City of London expressing their ideas on how to improve diversity in the City.

All our congratulations go to Atlanta and Benedict, to Jordan who took 3rd place and to Jade, Laetitia, Gizem, Abid and Jamellia who also submitted essays.
