15th Dec 2020Last year we had great fun in Year 7, taking part in Biblio-Buzz: the Alexandra Palace Children’s Book Award. So – we will be doing it again with our new Year 7s! The students who are now in Year 8 would like to continue their club too, so we will have 2 alternating ‘bubble’ bookclubs during the spring term on Tuesdays from 3 – 4 pm. Each week, one club will meet physically and the other will have an online task /discussion on Teams.
Tuesday 12th January – Year 7 club starts in the Library
Tuesday 19th January – Year 8 club starts in the Library; Year 7 club is online
Tuesday 26th January – Year 7 club in the library; Year 8 club is online
And so on...
Each week we will do a fun activity relating to reading for pleasure, make new friends and chat about books. Students who have not been before, are very welcome to come and join us any week.
